ABOUT BEE GIRL

Hi, thank you for visiting my blog. I am the bee girl but usually I prefer my real name Isobel. I am a PhD student who researches Honey bees. Specifically I research the natural resistance of honey bees to the Varroa mite. However, I am interested in all aspects of bee health and aim to help to preserve our Honey bee populations and their environments. Given the relative inaccessibility of academia I decided to post my knowledge on this blog so that the community can benefit sooner.
